Beyond the Sea, Same Roots
Beyond the Sea, Same Roots Sardinia and Argentina in the images of a son of emigration
The exhibition, promoted by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia - Department of Labor in collaboration with CREI ACLI, is born from the gaze of a third-generation Sardinian-Argentine photographer and tells the story of Sardinia through the sensitivity of someone who carries two worlds in his heart.
Each photograph of Sardinia - landscapes, architectural details, typical dishes - is accompanied by a parallel image of Argentina with the aim of highlighting deep connections, similarities and cultural influences that unite the two lands, and enhancing memory, identity and belonging.
The exhibition aims to be a bridge between past and present, between those who left and those who returned, celebrating the richness of the encounter between culture and the strength of the bonds that cross oceans and generations. Hosting the exhibition _Beyond the Sea, Same Roots_ within A.SI.BIRI - ETHICAL AND SUSTAINABLE TOURISM FESTIVAL represents an opportunity to share and promote the cultural sustainability of tourism.
The exhibition thus becomes a tribute to the roots, heritage and identity of the territory, inviting us to protect and enhance collective memory.
Through this visual dialogue, the exhibition becomes a spokesperson for the values of the festival, offering visitors an authentic and meaningful experience.
