GREEN THUMBS
An important initiative dedicated to environmental protection, in which citizens, tourists, associations and institutions come together to plant new trees in public or private spaces.
Benefits of tree planting:
Improvement of air quality: trees absorb CO₂ and release oxygen.
Reduction of noise and air pollution.
Prevention of soil erosion.
Creation of habitats for local fauna.
Aesthetic enhancement and psychological well-being of urban spaces.
Event promoted by the Quartu S.E. Tourist Association in collaboration with Ass. OIKOS Cittadinanza Attiva and Ente Forestas
