CLEAN UP DAY

A Clean Up day with the volunteers of Cittadinanza attiva Oikos is a fundamental initiative to raise awareness among the community and tourists about environmental protection and coastal protection.

These days not only help to remove waste from the beaches, but are also opportunities for environmental education, promoting respect for the environment and the importance of maintaining our marine ecosystem healthy and in balance

The volunteers will divide up into designated areas of the beach, equipped with gloves, waste bags and sometimes even collection tongs, useful tools for collecting waste without contaminating themselves. The goal is to remove every type of visible waste, from plastics to cans, from cigarettes to glass bottles.
