PATRICK CAPPAI vs RICARDO MARTINEZ

While waiting to face the Spaniard Juan Jesus Antunez for the Silver EBU featherweight title, Patrick Cappai will fight on May 3 at the Palaferrini in Quartu Sant’Elena.
His opponent will be Ricardo Martinez (13-11), one of the many Nicaraguans active in Europe, already an opponent of Alessio Lorusso in September 2023.
The "Silver" international title WBC featherweight will be up for grabs.
Patrick, who has been part of the national team for years and represented it at the Youth World Championships in Budapest 2018 and the European Under 22 Championships in 2021, was the Italian amateur champion in 2019 and 2021.
The meeting card will feature bantamweight Nicola Mancosu (12-5), lightweight Jonathan Rubino (2-0) and flyweight Roberta Bonatti (3-0), who boasts significant amateur history, where she won seven national titles (six among the seniors and one among the juniors), and the conquest of the silver medal at the European Championships in 2022.
