Stand Up Comedy

Final rush for the 3rd edition of the institutional review 'La luna sotto casa' (The moon under the house), which between Thursday and Saturday proposes two more appointments to conclude next week: a show dedicated to comedy and one centred on popular music, confirming the heterogeneity of a calendar designed precisely to touch more sectors of culture and therefore more interests of the population.

On Thursday 10 August in Piazza XXVIII Aprile, starting at 9.30 p.m., an aces' poker is coming to Quartu for an evening of stand up comedy under the banner of irony and fun. Not one, but four well-known and appreciated comedians will take turns on stage: Albert Huselan Canepa, Aurelio Sechi, Roberto Lai and Pasqualino Massa.

Albert Huselan Canepa is one of the authors of the satirical website Lercio; he has taken part in Rai2's 'Battute?' programme and managed a daily humour strip on Sky's Nsl channel; he has also been artistic director of the Cagliari Comedy Festival and received several awards for the quality of his texts. Aurelio Sechi is now a national face of stand-up comedy, with his One Liner jokes and his personally written monologues; he has participated in various Open Mic and cabaret evenings in clubs and small theatres throughout Italy; he has also recently joined the Zelig Workshops. Comedian and creative artist, Roberto Lai, born in 1979, is a member of the Stand-up Comedy Sardegna group; author of articles for the Cagliari satirical newspaper 'L'Unione Burda', lately devoted to recipes, focusing on the extreme use of Cagliari slang. And finally Pasqualino Massa, born in '89' and also a member of the Stand-up Comedy Sardegna collective for the past three years.
