VIACONVENTO - Conversazioni su libri sardi

"VIACONVENTO" CULTURAL FESTIVAL, NEW EDITION SAME THEME: SARDINIA

With the approach of spring returns this year the ViaConvento Festival, which already in the last edition had found a great success with the public. In the evocative rooms of the Ex Convento dei Cappuccini, as usual, will alternate different authors, strictly islanders, ready to tell the beauty and uniqueness of our Sardinia.

Different and heterogeneous, in fact, the meetings scheduled, linked by an invisible thread, a common background: the history, the culture and the language of the island.

Every Wednesday, in the festival that will continue until the summer, with June 19 as the last date on the calendar, we will talk about different topics: female identity (with books by Ada Lai and Luciana Satta and events dedicated to the first Sardinian director Maria Piera Mossa and the photographer Daniela Zedda), poetry (the monograph by Giancarlo Porcu on Pasquale Dessanai and the poems by Nino Landis), music ("I canti di Sardegna di Giulio Fara" and "Geomusica" by Eugenio Milia), food production (with the book on craft beer edited by Francesca Borghi, Marilena Budroni and Giacomo Zara), tales ("S’universu a bolu" di Matteo Tuveri, "Luoghi letterari. Sardegna" di Giulio Pisano), the contemporary writers (Giuseppe Tirotto "La stanza chiusa" and Ottavio Olita "Il rifugio dell’assassino").
