Is Canaleddus Beach

Is Canaleddus Beach. Among the countless pearls present in southern Sardinia, magical for the atmosphere they offer and the feeling of freedom for contact with nature, we find one in particular that for its position and the Mediterranean scrub that surrounds it recalls distant tropical landscapes from the frenetic civilization.

An oasis so defined by many, we speak of Is Canaleddus a beautiful beach like many in Sardinia but rare for its characteristics; it takes its name from the presence of small channels dug by rainwater that flow into the cobblestones and down to the sea.

Is Canaleddus is located on the south eastern coast of Sardinia just a few minutes from the Poetto beach of Quartu S Elena and close to perhaps the best known Mari Pintau ..

This wild beach surrounded by dense vegetation that then gives itself to the crystalline waters is characterized by the massive presence of pebbles smoothed by the sea that lead into a sea between the emerald green color and shades of turquoise.

The water is crystal clear and the shallow and sandy seabed after the first few meters from the shore, behind you you find yourself surrounded by a pine forest made mostly of eucalyptus and juniper trees that offer a bit of shade in the hottest hours of the day, just think that once this particular point was the favorite haunt of the inhabitants to immerse themselves in nature just a few minutes from the city even in winter days.

You get to Is Canaleddus via the provincial road 17, after passing the junction for Cala Regina in the direction of Villasimius, get to the roundabout that served as a connection with the new State Road 125. and turn right near the roundabout itself, thus entering the entrance to the pine forest of Is Canaleddus

On the beach there are: ample parking, deckchair and umbrella rental, toilets and a beach bar.
